About Water Pollution 2020

*Status Update* Please note that following the recent events on the Coronavirus pandemic and with the main objective to preserve the well being of our delegates, WIT has decided to postpone the conference until after the summer break. The conference was due to be held 13-15 May 2020 and will now be held 30 September-2 October 2020. *** The conference provides a forum for discussion amongst scientists, managers and academics from different areas of water contamination. The wealth of information exchanged in this international meeting continues to be of great benefit to all involved with water pollution problems.

Topics

Water pollution, Water quality

Call for Papers

Environmental problems are essentially interdisciplinary. Engineers and scientists working in this field must be familiar with a wide range of issues including the physical processes of mixing and dilution, chemical and biological processes, mathematical modelling, data acquisition and measurement, to name but a few. In view of the scarcity of available data, it is important that experiences are shared on an international basis. Thus, a continuous exchange of information between scientists from different countries is essential.

The following list covers some of the topics to be presented at the conference. Papers on other subjects related to the objectives of the conference are also welcome.

  • Water contamination
  • Assessing, monitoring, modelling and forecasting
  • Water management
  • Wastewater and salt water management
