As one of the globally leading conferences on molecular and nanoscale separations, the FFF2018 will bring together scientists, engineers, regulators and industry concerned with separation and characterization of: manufactured nanoparticles and nanomaterials; environmental nanoparticles, colloids and particles; natural and synthetic macromolecules; proteins, biomacromolecules and biomarkers; pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceutics and drug carrier systems; cells and viruses; and food and agriculture. The FFF2018 will focus on new developments and applications of all forms of Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF) and related field- and flow separation techniques such as SPLITT, nanoscale flow separations, and electro-, magnetic-, acoustic-, and dielectrophoretic-driven separations.
Call for Abstracts
The FFF2018 scientific committee welcomes your abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Abstract submission window for oral presentation is Sept 4th - Dec 2017 and for poster presentation is Sept 4th - March 1st . All submission should be made online https://web.asph.sc.edu/fff2018/.
The Nineteenth International Symposium on Field- and Flow-based Separations (FFF 2018) will take place in Columbia, SC, USA on May 14-17, 2018.
The FFF symposia series has a main focus on the application of Field- and Flow- Based Separation techniques and other related separation techniques in advanced material science. The meeting series is of interest to scientists and engineers interested in separation and characterization of all types of macromolecules, nanoparticles, supramolecular assemblies, and micron-sized particles in liquid media. Previous meetings have been extremely successful and with a broad focus covering nanoparticles & nanotechnology, synthetic and natural macromolecules, environmental colloids and particles, nanotoxicity, cells, viruses, & biological particles, proteins, drug delivery, toxicology, food & agriculture as well as instrumentation development and theory.
FFF2018 symposium will feature a strong scientific program with invited world-renown leaders, and special emphasis on talented young researchers in the field. The meeting will be preceded by a short FFF training course.
I am looking forward to welcoming you in Columbia, SC in 2018!
With best regards,
