The 27th Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) Annual International Conference is jointly organized by the EROPA Secretariat and the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP NCPAG). It will be held in Manila, Philippines on 22-27 September 2019. Scholars and practitioners in the field of Public Administration are cordially invited to take part in the conference and submit papers for presentation. The 2019 EROPA Conference will cover a range of issues in the theme of "The Future of Public Administration: Rethinking Resilience, Equity, and Sustainability in the Region and Beyond".
The Asia-Pacific region has recently been transformed into a global economic powerhouse and is showing no signs of slowing down. The region exudes so much potential for growth and development in the coming decades, yet it also faces multiple threats from various sources. In order to counter this, it needs to build resilience amid uncertainty and ensure that the gains of development will benefit everyone for generations to come. Such a goal would require long-term, strategic thinking, and holistic approaches. Thus, in order to ensure that progress is made in terms of politico-administrative, social, environmental and economic resilience, equity, and sustainability, discourse on these topics with regard to Public Administration needs to be amplified.

Papers will be accepted for presentation as they are judged to form a substantial basis for a discussion of the issue and make an important contribution to the knowledge of the subject.
(a) The Asian Review of Public Administration and the Philippine Journal of Public Administration will consider quality papers for possible publication. Paper presenters who wish to have their papers considered for publication in the journal must adhere to the journal style guidelines set forth by the ARPA and PJPA Editorial Boards. (b) Additionally, the Carlos P. Ramos Award for Best Conference Paper shall be conferred to the most outstanding paper presented in the conference, which is authored by an individual or team of individuals. The Award consists of a certificate of recognition and a cash prize of US$1000.00.
