Join us on January 29th and 30th, 2020 as more than 320 wetland enthusiasts, experts and students from the Mid-Atlantic region gather in Wilmington, Delaware to attend the 9th biennial 2020 Delaware Wetlands Conference. Participants will share the latest in wetland research, innovations to outreach and education, and the progress of conservation programs. Ample opportunities will also be provided to network and make new connections.
We are currently accepting 15 and 5 minute oral presentations (due Oct. 30) and professional and student posters (due Dec. 20). If you have a new and innovative project from the Mid-Atlantic region that can create a conversation and push the boundaries of wetland science, we want to see it. Submissions may include the following topic areas surrounding wetlands: Plants & animals Coastal preparedness & risk reduction Restoration & stabilization Monitoring & assessment Education & outreach Mapping, GIS & modeling Plus, if you become a presenter you will receive the added benefit of a reduced registration fee of $60 (general admission is $100 at Early Bird rates).
