The 30th Annual Ethnographic and Qualitative Research Conference is a juried national research conference sponsored this year by the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) College of Education which brings together scholars from around the U.S. and abroad in order to present scholarship employing ethnographic and qualitative research methodologies.
We invite research projects among a broad spectrum of topics. Employment of traditional ethnographic and qualitative research projects provides the common thread for conference papers.
Proposals will be peer-reviewed among three strands: Results of qualitative and ethnographic research studies, qualitative research methods, and pedagogical issues in qualitative research.
Formats include lecture presentations and interactive poster sessions. The lecture presentations will be in 20-minute segments, with the poster presentations allowing for more extended dialogue and engagement with conference participants.
Submit a proposal that includes a title, an abstract of not more than 150 words, and a summary that does not exceed more than 600 words. If the proposal is accepted for presentation, then the title and abstract will be included in the conference program.
