The Irish Signals and Systems Conference (ISSC) is the premier annual research forum on the Island of Ireland addressing all aspects of signals and systems including both applications and fundamentals. Since its inception in 1990 as the Colloquium in Digital Signal Processing and Control, the ISSC retains its focus on signals and systems, control and automation, communications and ICT related concepts while evolving over the years to include a variety of application areas.
Over the past 30 years, ISSC has become the premier conference in Ireland addressing all aspects of signals and systems.
The conference attracts both national and international participation and provides an excellent forum for networking with academics, companies, researchers, and students working in the area. The conference programme will include oral and poster presentations (incorporating brief poster introductions), invited keynote talks from leading experts, industry stands, and prizes for Best Paper and Best Student Paper. We invite academic and industrial researchers in the Electronic Engineering and Computer Science communities working with Signals and Systems to participate and submit contributions in areas that include, but are not restricted to, the following short list of topics:
A longer list of topics is available on the conference topics page and this year we particularly welcome relevant submissions in the areas of Robotics, Intelligent Devices, and Communications.
Full details of the paper submission guidelines, including paper formatting guidelines and templates can be found at the guide for authors page.
The program committee will select high quality papers for oral and poster presentations based upon peer reviews that consider the technical merit, originality, and relevance to the conference. Brief industrial submissions are also welcome.
