The MME is a well established and recognized European annual workshop on microtechnology. The goals are stimulation and improvement of know-how in the field, as well as the establishment of cooperation and friendship between delegates. The accent lies on mutual discussions around poster presentations rather than on formal oral presentations. A small number of world-leading experts are invited to review key research topics, focusing on both the latest results and background concepts.
The purpose of the papers submitted to MME is twofold. First, it serves to inform the program committee what new results you propose to present. Therefore, it is important within the first few sentences to state what your primary result is. It is also important to identify how the new work differs from previous work from your own group and from other groups.
Visit our conference site for abstract submission details.
Authors of accepted contributions have the option to have their revised manuscript to be considered for publication in the Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering. The program committee will make a selection of about ten manuscripts, and offer these to the editor of JMM. The review process is as with any regular contribution
