46th All India Conference of Dravidian Linguists will be organized in Jadavpur University in collaboration with School of Languages and Linguistics and Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore. The Conference will hold on 21st, 22nd and 23rd June, 2018. This time during the conference an International Symposium on Linguistic Ecology and Language Technology will be organized. We welcome scholars to submit their research works for presentation in 46th All India Conference of Dravidian Linguists.
The conference serves as a platform of scientific exchange for linguists working on any aspect of language and linguistics. Accordingly, we welcome contributions which address the issues of languages from the perspectives of various subdomains of linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, descriptive and typologically-oriented analyses of phonology and morphosyntax, phonetics, formal approaches to the grammar, grammaticalization and historical development, semantics, pragmatics, stylistics, cognitive linguistics, anthropological linguistics, biolinguistics, translation, lexicography, language acquisition, clinical linguistics, language documentation, language teaching, language planning, language and politics, language contact and corpus linguistics. Submissions in the newly emergent fields like language and brain, computational linguistics etc. are also welcome. Submissions must be written in Times New Roman script with a 12pt font size and single spacing. In stead of using footnotes, contributors are requested to use end note options. Authors are requested to submit their initial submission in pdf version through EasyChair. If selected for presentation, the source file along with the special fonts if any will be asked for.
