About ISR 2018
The 50th International Symposium on Robotics, ISR 2018, will again be held in Munich, Germany, June 20–21, 2018. In 2018 ISR celebrates its 50th anniversary. The 1st ISR in 1970 was the first global robot conference ever and it continues to be the world's leading robot conference! In about 150 presentations, ISR 2018 will give an insight into the latest state-of-the-art robot technologies to participants from both industry and science. Presentations of the final nominees of the Joseph F. Engelberger Award and the IERA award highlight the conference’s gala banquet.

We cordially invite researchers and experts from the field of robotics to submit their abstracts, as we are confident we can provide an exciting conference program in June 2018.
All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings (VDE publish house, IEEE Xplore and Scopus).
We will have a double review process:
- review based on the submitted abstracts and conditionally accepted for inclusion in the event program.
- review of the full papers for inclusion in the proceedings. Reviewers may ask authors to make some changes in their papers. The TPC members will make the final decision about the presentation type (oral or poster) and assignment in the program.
