The CRiPaP conferences have been organized by the Latvian Language Institute of the University of Latvia (Riga) since 2014. CRiPaP 2018 continues the tradition of the previous events bringing together scholars of all the varied areas of phonetics and phonology and providing forum for discussions on current methodological and theoretical issues in the field.
Latvian Language Institute of the University of Latvia invites you to participate in the 5th International Scientific Conference Contemporary Research in Phonetics and Phonology: Methods, Aspects and Problems (CRiPaP 2018) that will be held in Riga, Latvia on May 17–18, 2018. The CRiPaP conferences have been organized since 2014 bringing together scholars of both theoretical and applied phonetics and phonology and providing forum for discussions on current methodological and theoretical issues in the field.
The language of the conference is English.
Time for presentation: 15 min + 5 min for discussion.
Registration form and abstract are to be submitted by March 2, 2018 via e-mail to: jugrig at latnet.lv. The decision on acceptance will be sent by March 12, 2018. The conference program will be announced by April 30, 2018.
The registration fee 40 EUR must be paid by April 12, 2018. Bank details for payment of the registration fee will be sent to the accepted participants by e-mail along with the decision on acceptance.

The articles based on the conference reports can be submitted to the annual volume of Linguistica Lettica (Index Copernicus, ERIH Plus) 2019.
