The Heads of State and Government and High Representatives, Meeting at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 25 to 27 September 2015 decided on new global Sustainable Development Goals through the full implementation of the Agenda by 2030. Social and economic development depends on the sustainable management of our planet’s natural resources. Sustainable tourism is therefore a key component to protect biodiversity, ecosystems and wildlife as well as to preserve social plurality and cultural heritage.
