Deadline for Article Submission April 30, 2018

Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı Dergisi – Studien für deutsche Sprache und Literatur is a peerreviewed academic journal founded in 1954 by Istanbul University’s Department of German Language and Literature.

Since 2009 it is published biannually (June & December) and issued as hardcopy and online. Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı Dergisi – Studien für deutsche Sprache und Literatur publishes disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary, theoretical and/or applied research articles that focus on German language and literature in the following fields: literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, media studies, translation studies, and language teaching. This journal also offers book reviews of scientific books and news of national and international conferences which cover the mentioned fields. Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı Dergisi – Studien für deutsche Sprache und Literatur is indexed by the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Social and Human Sciences Index and the Clarivate Analytics Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).

Alman Dili ve Edebiyatı Dergisi – Studien für deutsche Sprache und Literatur accepts articles written in one of the following languages: German, Turkish, and English.

For the new issue of our journal we call for papers related to German language and literature and from the fields of study on topics mentioned above.

The manuscripts should be formatted according to the 6th edition of the APA. Articles for submission must be previously unpublished and should not be under evaluation or in the process of being published for another journal. A 250 words abstract for the article should be submitted in the original language and in English. In addition, an extended abstract of 600- 650 words in English should be attached at the end of the article. All submissions of max. 5000 words will be (double-blind) peer reviewed.

The deadline for submitting abstracts of approximately 250 words is January 30, 2018. The deadline for submitting completed articles is April 30, 2018.
