The NAWE conference explores writing in education in all settings. We welcome proposals for workshops, presentations and shared panels from creative writing tutors working in schools, colleges, community settings and in higher education at any level.
This year’s conference will showcase key outputs from Paper Nations, our Arts Council England strategic partnership. For the past two years, NAWE and TRACE at Bath Spa University have been collaborating through Paper Nations on a project to investigate good practice and barriers to writing support for young people. Our research and development has involved a programme of work with young people, parents, educators and writers. Join us to celebrate excellence in writing support for young people.
The full programme will be published in July and promoted worldwide. We’re open to suggestions in terms of presentation format. We welcome practice-based presentations with a preference for proposals that actively engage delegates and give them new insights into the practice of teaching and writing.
