Data Science techniques are being applied to an increasing number of applications. ADSMA 2018 aims to identify the current state of the art of data science research for maritime applications leading to a new research agenda within the field. The event will bring together national and international representatives from academic and industry. In addition to sharing the latest advancements in the field, participants will also have great networking opportunities.
We welcome submissions that describe current state of the art of data science research for maritime applications. Particular topics of interest for this conference include (but are not limited to) the following, as applied to maritime applications, both commercial and naval:
We invite papers from both academia and industry of up to 4 pages in length presenting novel developments in this context. We encourage papers that advance the research field; papers strictly dealing with applications are discouraged. If you are unsure about the relevance of your paper, please email us.
Submissions
Papers should be up to 4 A4 pages in length (including title, figures and references). Papers must be written in English and authors must use the IEEE conference paper format (view guidance here).
All full papers will be reviewed by the Programme Committee and all accepted submissions will be presented orally at the conference and distributed to all attendees.
