This international conference will provide a technical forum on advances in the scientific understanding of the effects of aerosols on urban, regional, continental, and global-scale haze and the radiative balance. New topics include biomass burning and the effects of wildfire, impacts on visibility, radiative balance and health, as well as the effects of atmospheric nitrogen and carbonaceous material on haze, climate change, and the nitrogen deposition on ecosystems. In addition to a strong technical program, this conference also features courses, an excursion to Bryce Canyon National Park, star gazing, networking opportunities, and a vendor exhibit.
Presentations are invited on atmospheric optical properties, visibility, radiative forcing, aerosols, and climate and the related air pollutants. Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
Abstracts of up to 500 words must be submitted by April 24, 2020 via the online submittal survey found at www.awma.org/visibilityauthors.
