About DSA2018
At the Drug Safety Africa 2018 conference, models, methods and strategic & regulatory approaches to evaluate the preclinical and clinical safety of medicines, will be presented and discussed for the first time in Africa. This conference takes place on the Potchefstroom campus of the North-West University and presents state of the art lectures covering four main topics: safety pharmacology, toxicology, clinical drug safety and precision medicine. Talks will include contributions from scientist and regulators involved in drug safety testing. This conference will, among others, provide a forum for regulators for new developments in drug safety testing.

Any individual in the academic or business environment with an interest in drug safety as a subject is invited to submit an abstract in any of the four main topics namely: safety pharmacology, toxicology, clinical drug safety and precision medicine,

Deadline: 10 October 2018 – Submissions will be reviewed by a scientific panel and feedback will be given within 3 weeks of receipt.
Abstracts invited to present poster presentations at the conference will be included in the abstract book for the conference and may be presented on the conference website.
