This Royal Aeronautical Society Flight Simulation Group’s two day autumn conference will provide an opportunity to learn more about current flight simulator engineering topics. The conference aims to inform and present core and emerging simulator technologies, standards and other subjects of potential interest to simulation solution developers.
The conference seeks contributions which are informative, cover real world experiences and briefings on research projects. The organising committee welcomes submission of abstracts on simulator engineering topics covering (but not limited to) the below areas:
Simulator engineering topics is in most cases equally applicable to both civil and military, fixed and rotary wing or space and atmospheric flight, although we note that some technology is used more or earlier in one than the other. Contributions from all sectors are welcomed including manufacturing industry, operators and academia thus aiming to cross-pollinate developments and new concepts to stimulate dialogue. Instructions to Authors The Organising Committee invites prospective authors to submit abstracts of original work for presentations at the conference.
Abstracts should be written in English and contain between 100 - 150 words, preferably in electronic format or typed double spaced on A4 or 8x12 inch paper. Authors should submit their abstracts in electronic format only by Friday 30 March. Selection will be made on the abstract content and applicability to the final published programme requirements.
Accepted scripts and presentations, fully cleared for publication and presentation should be submitted by Friday 17 August.
N.B. Papers are preferred but are not mandatory. All written papers will be included in the conference proceedings and made available to delegates online.
