Call for Papers

Eurasian Congress on Molecular Biotechnology will be held in Osman Turan Congress Center at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) during September 19-21th, 2019. The official language of the ECOMB 2019 is English. The congress will be organized with the theme of “Current Research & Innovations in Life Science“.

Biotechnology was defined as “any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms, or derivatives thereof, to make or modify products or processes for scientific use” by United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in 1992. It is a fascinating interdisciplinary field uniquely poised to take on some of the world’s most complex problems and the development of tools that aim to define or solve human problems.  Biotechnology has been even a more fascinating field along with developments in our understanding of fundamentals of functioning of biological system.  Therefore, it has been one of the most significant field during last decade worldwide and will continue its significance as indicated by Bill Gates, “The two Technologies that will shape the next century are biotechnology and information technology”.

Biotechnology has also become very popular field in Europe and Asia (Eurasia) continents. Considering its significance, we organized “Eurasian Congress on Molecular Biotechnology” in 2001 first time at KTU, Trabzon, Turkey. After this initial meeting, we continued organizing it at small scale yearly. However, the recent developments in the field and demand to solve the several problems related to life science enforced us to re-organize the next “Eurasian Congress on Molecular Biotechnology” during September 19-21th, 2019 at KTU.

We would like to invite participants from all over the world to attend ECOMB 2019 during September 19-21th, 2019 at Trabzon, Turkey. The congress will also provide the excellent opportunity to meet academicians, scientists, researchers, educators, professionals, practitioners, biotechnologists, microbiologists, pharmacists, and students to exchange ideas and be informed about the latest research developments in the field. It is a three day congress which will includes opening lecture, plenary sessions, keynote speeches, poster, and oral presentations. We expect you to submit abstract(s) of your talk/presentation/symposium/workshop according to your session of interest from all different areas of animal, plant and microbial biotechnologies.

Topics of the sessions will include;

Bioinformatics, biotechnology, Agriculture, biotechnology, Functional genomics, Genetic diseases, Aquaculture and marine biotechnology, Genome analysis, Molecular diagnostics, Bioremediation and biomass utilization Modelling cellular metabolism, Neuro-biotechnology, Environmental biotechnology, Next generation sequencing, Nutrition and food biotechnology, Nano biotechnology, Genetic modification, Plant biotechnology,   Therapeutic agents, Protein engineering, Plant genetics and its developments,  Vaccines, Microbial insecticides, Plant growth-promoting bacteria.
