The ENCODS is the FENS (Federation of European Neuroscience Societies)‑affiliated international conference for doctoral students that is organised annually by a different group of internationally located PhD students to offer young neuroscientist a scientific exchange that suits their needs better than a large-scale event.
The main target participants are PhD students in neuroscience-related disciplines from around the world, although people with strong interests in neuroscience from other early-career stages are also encouraged to apply. We strongly encourage students from underrepresented backgrounds to apply, and would like to offer travel grants and fee waivers for those in need.
Currently the registration fee is approximately £200 with two nights accommodation (24th & 25th), £165 with one night accommodation, and £130 without accommodation. This includes all meals and refreshments during the conference. Participants are strongly encouraged to give a talk and/or present a poster at the conference.
We also offer 10% discount for FENS members.
