The school courses will explore the representations of time, space and ritual, gender roles and gendered gaze, they will also discuss memory, remembering and (auto)biographical practices, especially in conflict narratives.
We are looking forward to applications from students, researchers and professionals with a particular interest related to Film and Media Studies. The course will allow you to deepen theoretical and methodological knowledge and critical thinking in the field.
The school activities will include lectures, workshops, film screenings, visits, presentations and discussions.
Participants will be encouraged to make a short presentation exploring a topic related to Film Studies and participate in roundtable discussions. A Certificate of Completion will be provided by the end of the week.
The fee for participants is 420 GBP, which includes learning materials, coffee breaks, lunches and a number of social events. The fee does not include travel or accommodation costs.
