This Oxford-based conference seeks to bring together researchers who aim to promote health and well-being through improved health services in Europe and around the world. The goal is to highlight the link between research and practice by gathering together a wide range of papers on health and health services research close to practice and/or policy. These will come from the full range of allied disciplines including primary care, acute medicine, public health, psychiatry, paediatrics, and ageing as well as economics, psychology, statistics, social science and ethics, clinical trial design, health informatics and implementation research.
Dear Colleague,
We are delighted to announce the final call for abstracts for the 2018 Oxford Health Congress, which will take place in St Hugh’s College, Oxford (28-30 June 2018).
As in previous years, we welcome excellent research papers from across the spectrum of health and medical research of particular relevance to the understanding of, and need for, health services in all settings. Some of the speakers and details can be found on the website and more will be posted in due course.
The deadline for this call is 24 APRIL 2018.
We are also pleased to announce that selected papers presented at the Oxford International Health Conference 2018 will be published FREE OF CHARGE to a Special Issue of “Medical Sciences”, an Open Access journal indexed at PubMed (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/medsci/special_issues/Health_Improvement_Strategies). All papers submitted to the journal will be subject to peer review.
ONLY papers to be presented at the Oxford International Health Conference 2018 will be considered for publication in this Special Issue. Academics, researchers and health professionals interested in submitting an article for publication to the Issue are required to both submit an abstract and register to the conference first.
We therefore warmly encourage you to submit your abstracts to: http://www.globalhealthcongress.org/submissions, where full further details can be found. Please do join us for what promises to be another stimulating opportunity to share research ideas and experience with colleagues from around the world.
Many thanks,
