For over 15 years, Hazardex has been providing key industry information and topical discussion on process safety-related topics. The annual Conference and Exhibition brings together those with hazardous area and wider safety responsibilities to review best practice and the latest research in those areas key to managing process safety effectively. Of interest to senior engineers & directors from Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Energy, Utilities, COMAH, Mining, Food & Bev plus any operators that have high hazard areas at risk of explosion.
We are now seeking abstracts for the Hazardex & PPTex 2019 Conferences to be held on February 27 & 28 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Runcorn, Cheshire, UK. With a theme for cross industry knowledge sharing, confirmed speakers already include senior figures from HSE, BASF, EDF Energy, Total, the Environment Agency, Southern Water and the Institute of Measurement & Control.
2019 will co-locate with the launch of PPTex 2019, the event for personnel protection technologies for high hazard industries globally.
Next year’s conference will focus on specific topics relating to hazardous area and safety issues in the process and manufacturing industries including: * Personal Protection Technologies and smart PPE (Separate conference stream) * Asset Management and Maintenance * Decommissioning * Engineering & Design Safety * Fire & Explosion Hazards * Functional Safety * Human Factors * Knowledge & Competence * Regulation * Risk Assessment and Management This list is not exclusive. Anyone with an original take on any aspect of hazardous area operations or process safety is encouraged to get in touch. Please submit abstracts (300 to 400 words) for consideration by September 14, 2018. Successful candidates will be notified by October 12 and full papers should be sent through by November 30.
