The International Academy of Astronautics will hold its 22nd Humans in Space Symposium (HIS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from November 11th to November 14th, 2019. This conference aims to continue to provide a forum for discussion about fundamental and timely issues and trends as well as for developing collaborations through the exchange of research results and ideas in the field of space life sciences.
Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) is immensely proud to have a representative from the centre as a member of IAA; Eng. Salem Humaid Al Marri. We are certain that the Human in Space Symposium , held by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) is one of the important bi-annual meetings of the space community, and its stature continues to strengthen each year.
We believe our progress in the UAE in the short period in which we have been an active member of the global space community has proven our commitment and passion towards becoming one of the leading space-faring nations. The forward-looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; that the country to be among the top countries in the field of aerospace by 2021 and the ambitious vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; that the sky and space are the limits we are setting for aspirations of new generations has declared our endeavour to enrich human knowledge and serve humanity.
With the commitment we have made to contributing to humanity’s exploration of the universe and the need to explore further the opportunity of colonising planets for the long term benefit of the human race, we hope you will view Dubai as being a host for the 22nd Human in Space Symposium in 2019.
In this regard, we are delighted to invite the global space community, under the umbrella of the IAA, to Dubai for the symposium due to be held in 2019.
