The Internet of Things has become a core element of the Internet. Low-cost sensing and actuation are available to everyone. It allows seamless information exchange and networked interactions of physical and digital objects. This inter-connectivity together with large-scale data processing, advanced machine learning, robotics and new fabrication techniques steadily brings innovation and business models of the digital space into the physical world. All of this indicates that we are on the brink of another industrial revolution.
ICIIT 2017 is seeking for original, high impact research papers on all topics related to the development and social adoption of the Internet of Things. Papers are peer-reviewed and selected based on technical novelty, the integrity of the analysis and social impacts and practical relevance.
