We started this cherished tradition five years ago with the idea to give a chance to students from all over the world, to express their ideas and thoughts on a number of subjects. We are hoping that through their presentations on this year’s topic “Investing in Youth for a Sustainable Future”, we could develop a dialog which can greatly improve our view on our future.

So, we are thrilled to announce that for the fifth time now, we are opening the call for abstract to the International Student Congress 2018, under the guidance of the International Balkan University, and we are inviting you to send us your research papers on the following subtopics:

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES:

We would like to encourage students and to invite them to submit their abstract and become part of IBUISC’18. The abstract should contain a clear outline of theoretical framework, the theme or the work in discussion. The text of the abstracts should be submitted in English ONLY, and it should a maximum of 350-500 words. Submission of the abstracts shall be done directly in the Online Application Form. While fulfilling the Online Application Form, you will see a box where you should insert only the text of the abstract. You will also have separate boxes where you shall include the title of your paper as well as the keywords of your abstract.

ONLINE APPLICATION:

Your official application for the International Student Congress shall be submitted through the Online Application Form which can be found on our webpage: www.isc.ibu.edu.mk à APPLY NOW. All boxes of the Application Form are compulsory, in case the application is done individually; meaning if there is one author applying for the Student Congress. In case two authors apply with one Abstract, there is additional space in the Application Form in which information for the second author is required. The Application form consists of five separate sections including: Personal Information, Academic Information, Passport Information Abstract Submission and Payment Option Choice.

In order for your application to be valid as well as accepted we urge you to fill all the required blank spaces, including the abstract submission form. This means that when we receive your application, we simultaneously receive the abstract for your paper and we gradually send it for approval. This would make the whole process easier and more effective and we would concentrate more on making your experience more enjoyable.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Students at Bachelor Level
• Students at Master Level
• Students at PhD Level

We welcome submission of abstracts from students from all around the world including students from all levels of their studies related to the fields of economics, communications, psychology, political science, engineering, art and design, law, and education.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Deadline for submission of abstracts: 10 June 2018
• Announcement for accepted papers: 15 June 2018
• Deadline for submission of full paper: 15 July 2018
• 5th IBUISC 2018 Congress: 4-5 October 2018

PAYMENTS:

Participants should choose one of the following options:

OPTION 1 – Free of charge participation – The organizer will cover the following expenses:

• 2 nights’ accommodation (for the dates of the congress)
• Meals during the congress days
• Gala dinner
• Promotion materials, congress proceedings and certificate of attendance

OPTION 2 – The participation fee of 30 EUR that includes:

• 3 nights’ accommodation (for the dates of congress plus one day before or after the congress)
• Meals during the congress days
• Gala dinner
• Promotion materials, congress proceedings and certificate of attendance
• Sightseeing tour in Skopje

OPTION 3 – The participation fee of 50 EUR that includes:

• 4 nights’ accommodation (for the dates of the congress plus two days before or after the congress)
• Meals during the congress days
• Gala dinner
• Promotion materials, congress proceedings and certificate of attendance
• Sightseeing tour in Skopje

OPTION 4 – The participation fee of 70 EUR that includes:

• 4 nights’ accommodation (for the dates of the congress plus two days before or after the congress)
• Meals during the congress days
• Gala dinner
• Promotion materials, congress proceedings and certificate of attendance
• One day trip excursion to Ohrid

THE TRAVEL AND VISA EXPENSES ARE COVERED BY THE PARTICIPANTS.
