About EDUNINE2020

IEEE World Engineering Education Conference EDUNINE is a unique and innovative international conference that favors the exchange of knowledge, experiences and is a meeting point for academics, professionals, researchers and students of education in Engineering, Computing and related topics. The program of the conference covers the main issues that are presented in education today, among which stand out: the design and development of new learning environments, the use of new technologies and experiences, the motivation of students, the evaluation of learning and competences, intervention in the face of learning difficulties, etc.

Call for Papers

The theme of EDUNINE 2020 is Challenges of Education in Engineering, Computing and Technology without exclusions: Innovation in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The main objective is to provide innovative solutions to the challenges currently facing Education in Engineering, Computing and Technology in order to contribute to the improvement of the educational quality. It is an annual conference of the IEEE Education Society organized jointly with COPEC for Latin America.

Authors  are invited to submit original papers as  in one of the Submission types: Full Paper (6 pages) or Work-in-Progress Paper (4 pages). The paper should describe a classroom experience, teaching technique, curricular initiative, pedagogical tool or an educational research project. Papers should address one or more of the Thematic Streams. Note that an Abstract Submission (maximum 150 words) is required for all papers.

All papers and abstracts must be written in English which is the official language of the Conference in order to address a wider audience. The papers will be evaluated by peers based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.

Papers that are accepted will be published in the IEEE Xplore® digital library providing at least one author completes registration and presents the work at the Conference. The languages for the oral presentations are English and also Portuguese and Spanish, corresponding to the most spoken languages in the Latin American region. There will be no poster sessions.

In addition to the Oral Presentations, we will offer Workshops, Special Sessions and an Exhibition of Equipment and Educational Systems to support Learning and Stands for Universities.
