Call for Papers

The Universities of Cambridge and Birmingham are delighted to announce the 30th

anniversary of the Physics of Reactors (PHYSOR) conference, to be held between

the 29th March - 2nd April 2020 in Cambridge, UK. For nuclear energy to be

competitive in the future energy mix it must be scalable; both to the needs of the

grid and economic climate, as well as in simulation and design. This inspires the the

me of PHYSOR2020 - 'Transition to a scalable nuclear future'.

We invite authors to submit their state-of-the-art research in following topics -

  • Reactor Concept & Design
  • Core Analysis Methods
  • Deterministic and Monte Carlo Transport
  • Hybrid Methods
  • Advanced Modelling & Simulation
  • Transient Systems & Analysis
  • Research Reactor & Facilities
  • Nuclear Data & Experiments
  • Verification & Validation
  • Reactor Operations
  • Fuel Performance and Management
  • Fuel Cycle & Scenarios
  • Education in Reactor Physics
  • Sensitivity & Uncertainty Methods
  • Radiation Applications / Nuclear Safeguards
  • Nuclear Criticality Safety
  • Fusion Reactor Technology
  • Small Modular Reactors
