About RoCHI2018

ROCHI, the International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction is the premier scientific forum on research and development of user interfaces and human-computer interaction in Romania. Practitioners from corporate environments (e.g., designers, developers, graphics expert, user interface analysts, team leader) as well as people from academia (e.g., professors, students, and researchers ) and any other person interested by human-computer interactions are gladly invited to contribute and participate to RoCHI 2018 Conference! The papers will be published in the RoCHI Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2501-9422 (English language), submitted for listing to ISI, Scopus and DBLP databases.

Call for Papers

RoCHI, the International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction is the premier scientific forum on research and development of user interfaces and human-computer interaction in Romania.

Practitioners from corporate environments (e.g., designers, developers, graphics expert, user interface analysts, team leaders) as well as people from academia (e.g., professors, students, and researchers) and any other person interested by human-computer interactions are gladly invited to contribute and participate to RoCHI 2018 Conference!

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. RoCHI conferences accept papers written in English language and according to the following HCI contribution types and formats:

  • Extended papers describing: artifacts or techniques, HCI theory, methodology, empirical studies, surveys  (6/8 pages, approx. 3700-5000 words).
  • Short papers describing: artifacts or techniques, empirical studies, argument, applications, and workshop proposals (4 pages, approx. 2600 words).
All papers have to be edited according to the ACM-CHI format, adapted for A4 paper size, that can be downloaded from the conference website.
