The conference “Solidification: computer simulation, experiments and technology” (Izhevsk, Russia) has been held seven times since 1986 with the periodicity between 3 and 6 years. Before 2016 the conference had the national level. Since 2016 it includes presentations of international participants. Along with the theory, modeling and practical application of solidification from the liquid state, the scientific topics of the conference also include reports on modern scientific problems. The scope comprises the fields of atomistic dynamics, amorphous systems, aging of alloys and processes in the solid crystalline phase, as well as a new direction related to additive technologies.
The call for papers is open for all participants in conference. The manuscripts will be considered after a standard peer review procedure in order to meet the scientific and language requirements of the Journal of Crystal Growth. The maximum length of manuscripts is restricted to 4 pages for contributed and 6 pages for invited papers. The proceedings of the selected talks of the conference to be published after a peer-review in a special issue “Crystallization: Computer Models and Experiment” of Journal of Crystal Growth.
