This 1st International Conference on Democratization in Southeast Asia (ICDeSA) 2019 in Banten, Indonesia invites contributions on the topics related to the democratization processes in Southeast Asian countries along with the challenges and opportunities. By focusing on these issues, it is expected that the discussions could further amplify public’s awareness as well as academic interest in conducting more empirical and theoretical research on matters related to democracy in Southeast Asian context.
Abstract
Authors should submit maximum 300 words abstract in English to the Organizing Committee by June 1, 2019. The should also explain: aim of study, research method, findings, and implication of the study.
An author can only submit one paper as main author, but can be co-author in more than one paper.
Full PapersAuthors of the selected abstracts should provide a full paper (4,000-5,000 words) of the study also in English and must be submitted before July 30, 2019. Late full paper submission will not be considered.

All accepted papers will be submitted ISI/web of Science/Thomson Reuters indexed publisher and will be published in conference proceeding by Atlantis Press. Selected papers also have opportunity to be published in Asian Studies Journal CSEAS Kyoto University (Q3/ Scopus Indexed).
