About WH2020

The Health of Women 2020 is designed with you in mind. We know what you want in a women’s health conference, and have put it all together for you in one exciting weekend, filled with engaging lectures, discussions, networking receptions, old friends, and new connections, in the heart of coastal Virginia. We’ve carefully crafted an agenda catering to the learning needs of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals focused on women’s health in family practice, internal medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology.

Call for Papers

Thank you for your interest in submitting a poster abstract for The Health of Women 2020, being held June 25-28, 2020 at Hilton Norfolk The Main in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. Authors must register for the conference in order to present their posters. Notifications regarding acceptance of submitted abstracts will be emailed in January. Accepted abstracts are scheduled to be published online in the Journal of Women's Health.

Who Should Submit an Abstract - We invite researchers and clinicians at all levels to submit abstracts on current and emerging issues in women's health including basic, clinical, translational, behavioral, epidemiologic, disparities, and health services research. In addition, we welcome abstracts on innovations in health professions education and career development.

What to Submit - Please submit a structured abstract with background (with objectives), methods, results, and conclusion. There is a 250 word limit. Scientific abstracts report the results of original research and must contain data (either quantitative or qualitative) and report research results. Tables are not permitted in abstract submissions. Awards will be made based on category.
