In September 2015, countries around the world adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet, ensure prosperity for all, and achieve inclusive development by leaving no one behind.This workshop is aimed at researchers interested in using Model and Data Engineering to contribute in solving real and challenging problems that relate to SDGs and make a positive impact in people’s life.

Topics

The workshop welcomes submissions, using Models and Data Engineering, in applications on:

  • Health and well-being
  • Education
  • Climate Change
  • Sustainable Tourism
  • Sustainable Cities
  • and other topics relevant to SDGs

Submission Guidelines and Instructions EasyChair Conference Management Tool as well as submissions must conform to Springer's LNCS style (Latex style only for camera-ready papers) and should not exceed 12 pages. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.  All Workshop accepted papers will be published by Springer in "Communications in Computer and Information Science". An author of an accepted paper must register to MEDI 2018 Workshop (MEDI4SG 2018) in order to have the paper published. Each accepted paper must be presented at the Workshop by one of the authors. Publication and Special Issues Workshop papers will be published by Springer in "Communications in Computer and Information Science". Best papers will be selected for a special issue of: Computer Science and Information Systems Journal: Science Citation Index (SCI) by Thomson Reuters (IF=0.837) (Ranked Q2 by: http://www.scimagojr.com/).
