The 4th International Conference on Applied Research in Science, Technology which is held in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 15-17 November 2019 is keen to create a platform for the academics, researchers, engineers, industrial participants and students to share their research findings with the global experts. All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research depth, accuracy and relevance with the theme of the conference. We invite full and developmental papers, extended abstracts as well as case study presentations in English.

The Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) is a multi-stakeholder partnership to promote resource efficiency and sustainability both on-farm and throughout the rice value chain. Soil-borne diseases pose a major constraint to crop production globally and are associated with significant economic losses. Day 1 will focus on current agri-food practice on a global scale, but with implications for local economies. It will explore current eating habits and how they relate to retailing, processing and farming. Idealised food systems is the topic for Day 2, discussing what we hope to achieve and how we realistically move towards better practice. Day 3 will explore current policy-driven approaches to achieving change.
