This years OFAH conference is focused on CWD. Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) is a highly infectious, incurable and completely fatal disease affecting all members of the deer family. In Ontario this includes white-tailed deer, moose, elk and caribou. The disease has already been detected in three Canadian provinces and 25 American states and is known to have devastating impacts on wildlife. CWD is not solely a hunting issue. It is a wildlife conservation issue and we all need to work together to address it.
