Classical reception

The conference explores the cross-cultural engagement between Western civilization and other cultures, as well as the legacy and reception of the Classics in West Africa. Papers exploring other regions will be considered. The conference is being hosted by the Department of Philosophy and Classics, University of Ghana, Legon, in collaboration with the Department of Classics, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and the Department of Classics and Philosophy, University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
