It is with greatest pleasure that we invite you to “Under His Eye?:” Women In Feminist And Futuristic Literature, Film And Art International Conference. The conference is to take place in Poland, at the University of Lodz, Institute of English Studies, 17-18 May 2019. As the title suggests, the conference explores the genre of speculative fiction, art, film, futuristic, dystopian and utopian narratives, alternative ecological scenarios with regard to the representation of women and the feminist discourse. (Un)bound: Interdisciplinary Dialogues will be held on May 3rd and 4th at Carleton University, located on unceded Algonquin territory (Ottawa, Canada). This year’s theme invites graduate students, emerging scholars, and artists whose research or creative practice attempts to cross traditional borders and boundaries within the academic and artistic realms.
