Australian Association for Professional and Applied Ethics 25th Annual Conference The overarching conference theme will be Ethics in a Crowded World, focusing on the intersections between ethics and global practice and other issues in applied ethics and the professions. A key sub-theme is the global practice of humanitarianism.

Today, the question of ethics in politics and its importance for the sustenance of the democratic norms and institution is more important than ever. (Un)ethical leadership affects everyone and has the tremendous implications for our political and economic life. The Summit and Conference will address these implications in a two-day event. The Summit (April 30) under the theme “A Global Catalyst for Change” will feature keynote addresses and a series of discussions. The Politics and Ethics Conference (May 1) will bring academics and practitioners together to present their research, experiences and findings on these issues.
