Historical linguistics

ICHLL is a biennial conference providing scholars from different institutions an opportunity to gather and share their research on the history of dictionaries, the making of historical dictionaries, as well as on historical lexicology. Previous conferences have been held in Leicester, UK (2002), Gargnano del Garda, Italy (2004), Leiden, The Netherlands (2006), Edmonton, Canada (2008), Oxford, UK (2010), Jena, Germany (2012), Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain (2014), Bloomington, USA (2016).

The objective of the conference is to create dialogues exceeding the boundaries of the literary, artistic, and philosophical matrix. It aims to bring together scholars and opinion leaders from different disciplines and interests, providing an opportunity for the exchange of new ideas, cross-disciplinary exploration and cross-cultural research.

The Faculty of Slavic Studies is pleased to invite you to the Third International Philological Forum for Young Scholars, this edition being under the title Fields of Cooperation.
