Marx’s work dramatizes one of the most vital impulses in contemporary thought and politics. This major international conference explores Marx and Engels’ contributions to analysis, political practice, history and culture, the many different strands and meanings of “Marxism”, and how we can understand their legacy and ongoing relevance today. How can Marxism continue to contribute to critique, understanding and transformation? We welcome academic and activist papers, panel proposals and other formats. We encourage people to attempt to prove the “this-worldliness” of their thinking for these many fields, to create a lively and challenging space for discussion.
