In 2017, Africa Media Development Foundation (AMDFI introduced the annual Media Conference to serve as an avenue for exchange of ideas, to address current and emerging issues facing Development Journalism and journalists. It is also meant to create a community of learning that will support the growth of Development Journalism in Africa.
This year’s edition (#ACDJ2019) will be used as a platform to explore the place of Development Journalism in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals as outlined by the United Nations.
AMDF believes that no development programme and project can succeed without the active engagement of Media.
