After London, the ICLEI series returns to Kuala Lumpur with an event at the prestigious DoubleTree by Hilton hotel featuring keynotes and research papers on language and education. Full papers to be published in online proceedings (eISSN 2682-7697).

The International Conference on Language, Education, Humanities, and Innovation (ICLEHI) is a multi-disciplinary forum discussing ideas, theories and research findings in the fields of arts, humanities and social sciences. The series returns to Singapore this 22-23 February with a 2-day event at the Royal Plaza on Scotts, a stylish and modern hotel right in the heart of the city’s central commercial district.

The 17th International Conference on Language, Literature, Culture, and Education (ICLLCE) 2020 is a multi-disciplinary academic event discussing ideas, theories and research findings in the fields of language, literature, culture, and education.

"ExtReme 21: Going Beyond in Post-Millennial North-American Literature and Culture" is the third of the biannual ExRe(y) conferences organized by the Department of American Literature and Culture at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland. The conference will be held on June 4-6, 2020. We invite proposals for papers and panels that focus on the topic of the (broadly understood) extreme in American and Canadian literature and culture of the last two decades.

The conference aims to explore whether contemporary literature can effectively establish adequate representational spaces for approaching and reconsidering these past wars, focussing on the issue of “authenticity” in the use of historical sources and the need to access and interpret the past from contemporary settings. Additionally, we aim to shed light on the ethical dimensions of war writing and on the possibilities of closure, resolution or consolation in contemporary British and American literature, and to assess whether literature can be of use in the politics of peace-making and conflict resolution, contributing to the formation of fairer, more egalitarian societies.
