Sustainable agriculture farming & processing

The Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) is a multi-stakeholder partnership to promote resource efficiency and sustainability both on-farm and throughout the rice value chain. Launched in 2011, SRP is co-convened by the UN Environment and the International Rice Research Institute, and works in collaboration with over 100 institutional partners in the public and private sectors as well as the research, international development and NGO community.

ICLCA-ICCFB 2019 serves as a high‐impact platform, bringing together researchers and multi‐stakeholders from academia, government and private sectors, to share the knowledge and experiences for the transformation towards low-carbon development in Asia and beyond, for the emerging technologies and scientific advancements in chemical engineering, food and biotechnology. The conference addresses the various challenges outlined under the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
