The Irish Signals and Systems Conference (ISSC) is the premier annual research forum on the Island of Ireland addressing all aspects of signals and systems including both applications and fundamentals. Since its inception in 1990 as the Colloquium in Digital Signal Processing and Control, the ISSC retains its focus on signals and systems, control and automation, communications and ICT related concepts while evolving over the years to include a variety of application areas.

What is Technology? (2019) will examine the vortices of interaction among practical arts and tools, techniques and processes, moral knowledge and imagination to navigate our everchanging media/life/universe. In a broad sense, technology can be understood as methods of intelligent inquiry and problem-solving in all domains of human life.
