The Doctoral School of the Faculty of History, University of Bucharest, would like to invite PhD candidates in history, political science, international relations, economics or any other related fields, from all over the world, to an international conference about borders, barriers and frontiers as they have evolved and shaped human society throughout centuries. Transnational, regional and global perspectives are especially welcome.

The Leiden University Institute for Area Studies and Leiden Law School welcome scholars from the area studies, social sciences, law, humanities, computer sciences, and from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to the 16th annual Chinese Internet Research Conference (CIRC16), to be held in Leiden, the Netherlands, on 22-23 May 2018. CIRC16 will explore the theme ‘modes of connection’, across social, economic, and political fields.

The 2nd International Conference on Economic Research, ECONALANYA 2018, will be held on 19-20th October 2018 in Alanya, Turkey and includes presentations on macro and micro level economics. The conference is organized by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in order to bring together researchers from all over the world. It is our wish that this conference that allows scientists, practitioners and independent researchers outside universities to present their theoretical, analytical and experimental research will contribute to the scientific literature and policy-makers’ decisions, and we would like to express our appreciation to all participants and keynote speakers for their significant contributions

Global Illuminators Research Wing announce the 5th international conference on “EMERGING TRENDS IN ACADEMIC RESEARCH” (ETAR 2018). The Revista de Ciencias Políticas y Relaciones Internacionales is published annually by the Universidad de las Américas. The Journal receives academic articles of theoretical and/or empirical relevance throughout the year; those articles will be included immediately in our repository, and must pass through the processes of internal and external review for its respective approval. Additionally, the Editorial team will conduct an annual call for papers for the reception of articles framed in a dossier or of free thematic.

The International Association for Political Science Students welcomes you to the Academic Convention 2018 in Singapore. The theme of the convention will be “Rethinking Development: Innovative Policies for Social and Economic Advancement.” This year, we are partnering with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), an inter-governmental organisation that aims to strengthen relations between Asia and Europe. An annual event, the Convention is one of the largest international conferences for students of political science, international relations, and related disciplines.

The III International Conference Agriculture and Food in an Urbanizing Society (III AgUrb) is open for registration! The central theme is “Healthy food, socio-biodiversity and sustainable agri-food systems: innovations from consumption to production”. The Conference will be held from September 17-21, at UFRGS (Porto Alegre, Brazil). Everyone interested in participating should register, even those who do not intend to submit papers.

Ideas sharing for boosting and development in the field of management and social sciences.

Ten years have passed since the 2008 Global Financial Crisis rocked financial markets, and contemporary academic and public debates are still shaped by the aftereffects. Scholarship since the GFC has grappled with the political economy that led to the crisis, prompting a resurgence of empirical research. The conference organised at Oxford University (12-13 October) will bring together early career researchers working on empirical questions in political economy of finance. The Center of the Governance of Change (CGC) at IE is seeking contributions from established or promising younger scholars for its new research program on Resistance to Innovation and Technological Change in the Digital Era. This project aims to enhance our understanding of the social, economic, political and psychological factors driving resistance against innovation and new technology adoption, from a multidisciplinary approach that encompass the perspectives of the Social Sciences and the Humanities.
