This international conference will provide a technical forum on advances in the scientific understanding of the effects of aerosols on urban, regional, continental, and global-scale haze and the radiative balance. New topics include biomass burning and the effects of wildfire, impacts on visibility, radiative balance and health, as well as the effects of atmospheric nitrogen and carbonaceous material on haze, climate change, and the nitrogen deposition on ecosystems. In addition to a strong technical program, this conference also features courses, an excursion to Bryce Canyon National Park, star gazing, networking opportunities, and a vendor exhibit.
